Before becoming a designer, I was a dancer. While competing across Europe, I discovered that although I loved performing, I was equally passionate about creating my own costumes. It wasn't long before my designs began attracting attention, and fellow dancers started asking me to create custom pieces for them.

Wanting to deepen my knowledge and refine my skills, I graduated from the School for Design and Technology of Clothing, where I specialized in garment construction, color, and silhouette analysis.

In 2004, I moved to the United States and founded Petra Designs. Since then, I've had the privilege of creating custom competition dresses for dancers around the world. My Pro/Am clients have achieved remarkable success, including World Rhythm Pro/Am Champion titles, and Petra Designs was selected as a finalist in the 2019 Sparkle in the Spotlight design competition hosted by Rhinestones Unlimited.

In 2021, I was invited by Preciosa Crystals to create dresses showcasing their new rhinestone collection. My work has also been featured on television productions, including You Can Dance and Dancing Dream.

In 2023, I returned to the Czech Republic, where I continue designing for clients across Europe, the United States, and beyond.

Today, I still approach every dress the same way I did when I created my very first design - with passion, curiosity, and a commitment to helping every dancer feel confident on the competition floor. I truly value the relationships I've built with my clients, many of whom have been with me for years.
