Terms & Policies
1. General Terms
By placing an order or booking a service with Petra Designs, the client agrees to the terms outlined below. Petra Designs reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
Petra Designs also reserves the right to decline or cancel any order at its discretion.
2. Payments
Accepted payment methods include bank transfer and other agreed-upon methods.
- A 50% deposit of the quoted price is required to begin the design process and secure your order.
- The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to the release or delivery of the finished garment.
- Orders will not proceed without confirmation of payment.
All payments are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
3. Custom Orders
Custom orders are typically completed within 6 to 8 weeks. While rush production is not guaranteed, limited orders may be accommodated within 4 to 5 weeks for an additional fee.
Production will begin upon approval of the design, fabrics, timeline, and upon receipt of accurate client measurements.
Any changes or additions requested after approval may incur additional charges and must be paid accordingly.
Petra Designs retains ownership of all sketches and design concepts.
4. Measurements & Fit
For local clients, measurements may be taken in person by appointment.
International clients will receive detailed instructions for self-measurement. It is the client’s responsibility to follow these instructions carefully, as inaccurate measurements may result in additional costs for adjustments.
5. Alterations
Minor alterations may be available depending on the design and condition of the garment. Additional charges may apply for any modifications made after initial approval.
Alteration requests must be communicated directly to Petra Designs.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping is arranged based on communication with Petra Designs to determine the most suitable method for your order.
Delivery typically takes 5–7 business days. Shipping costs are not included in the price of the dress.
An express shipping option (2 business days) is available for an additional fee.
Petra Designs is not responsible for delays caused by third-party shipping carriers.
All shipments are insured. In the event of loss or damage during transit, please contact Petra Designs for assistance in resolving the matter.
Please note that Petra Designs is not responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or taxes that may apply to international orders. Clients are advised to consult their local customs regulations.
7. Returns & Exchanges
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please contact Petra Designs within three days of receiving your order.
Refunds, exchanges, or alterations may be offered for unused, non-custom dresses, provided they are returned in their original condition with all tags attached.
Please note that custom-made dresses are final sale and are not eligible for refunds.
Petra Designs is unable to accept returns or offer refunds for gowns that have been worn or are not in their original condition.
Return shipping and insurance are the responsibility of the client.
8. Rental Terms
To rent a Petra Designs dress, a client must complete and sign a rental agreement. Rental services are available exclusively to local clients.
For local inquiries, please contact Petra to schedule a try-on appointment.
Additional rental terms, including security deposits, damage responsibility, and return conditions, will be outlined in the rental agreement.
9. Appointments & Consultations
Appointments, including color analysis and styling consultations, are available by booking only and must be paid in advance to confirm the reservation.
Cancellations or rescheduling must be communicated in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee and may result in the loss of any deposit paid.
10. Intellectual Property
All designs, sketches, and creative concepts produced by Petra Designs remain the intellectual property of Petra Designs. They may not be reproduced, copied, or used without prior written consent.
12. Privacy & Data Protection
Petra Designs respects your privacy. Any personal information, including measurements and contact details, is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order or service.
Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
